In celebration of Super Junior’s Kim Kibum taking part
in the production of a series and with the hope of its success, fans of
Kim’s recently donated a ton of rice.
In May 21 at 11:00 a.m., the production of tvN’s
Monday-Tuesday series I Love Italy took place at the Time Square in
Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, where a ton of rice from fans of Kibum arrived with
the hope of the series’ success.
The rice donated after the event; standing rice in place
of standing wreath is now a tradition in Korean show biz world—stacks
of rice sent in by fans with the hope of their star’s success are
donated instead of being thrown away after a while. The donation
supporting the Super Junior member was participated in by an association
of fans in 18 countries, including, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Egypt,
Syria, and Lebanon and fan clubs from 22 countries, such as China,
Japan, Italy, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines, and Thailand.
Previously, the royal fans of Kibum sent stacks of rice
to the scene where the production of SBS’s series “Deep Rooted Tree” in
support of their star and the success his series.
Slated to begin airing on May 28 at 11:00 p.m., I Love
Italy is a story about 25-year-old guy with a 14-year-old boy’s pure,
innocent soul and an heiress who doesn’t believe in love.
