AJ, who debuted in 2008 as a member of group Paran, is currently keeping busy as a member of U-Kiss. AJ, however, studied hard and was finally accepted into one of America’s top universities.
He was enrolled as an official songwriter in June of last year and showed off his musical talent by writing the title song “Believe,” which is included in U-Kiss’ special album.
AJ’s agency, NH Media, says, “We are surprised at him entering Columbia University as a idol singer, who is very busy. Many people are asking him to give a lecture about how he prepared for the entrance exam.”
Since AJ worked hard to enter the University, the agency said that they will support him as much as they can.
Columbia is an American private Ivy League research university, which has ranked 4th on USnews chart among all universities in the United States in 2012. Singer Park Jung Hyun is also a graduate of Columbia.
U-Kiss will return to performing on June 7 through an appearance on Mnet’s M Countdown. They will then tour 9 Japanese cities, including, Tokyo, Osaka, and Sapporo in July.
