TVXQ is currently in Japan for their nationwide tour titled "Tohoshinki LIVE TOUR 2012 ~TONE~" and they held a live free viewing event at the Fukui Sundome on March 10th. The free viewing event was held for the residents of the three areas in the Tohoku region which were hit by the disaster last year.

A year after the massive earthquake in Japan, TVXQ decided that they wanted to bring smiles and offer strength to the victims of the disaster, and some of them were fans of the group.

The live viewings were held at five cinemas in the region specifically at the Iwate Prefecture, Miyage Prefecture, and Fukushima Prefecture. Two thousand people from the three venues, including official fanclub members and residents in the disaster areas were invited to the viewings for free.

At the concert, TVXQ was quoted saying, "Everyone in the Tohoku region, let’s get excited together! I feel deeply connected to everyone in the Tohoku region. We would be happy if today’s live managed to bring you laughter, no matter how little."

TVXQ revealed performances from their new single "Still" as well as a special rendition for their track "The Way U Are." The group was also able to attract at least 17,000 attendees over their two day concert.

Aside from holding a nationwide tour in the country, TVXQ is also preparing for the release of their new single "Still," which will be released on the 14th of March.
