{NEWS}Kim Hyun Joong releases Japanese ‘Heat’ in July

Singer Kim Hyun Joong will release his new single in Japan.
On June 5, Kim’s agency, Keyeast, said that Kim will release his second Japanese single album Heat on July 4.
The single will include two songs “Heat” and “Let’s Party.” Kim showed off his soft image through his Japanese debut album, which was released in January. But this time, he will show off his powerful charisma as a tough man.

He is planning to perform live in Saitama, Japan on July 14 and 15 to celebrate the release of his second single album.
At the July 14 live concert, Kim will collaborate with popular Japanese musician Naoto Intiraymi and emcee the ‘Double Fantasy Star-Great Assist.’ The two stars have known each other since when Kim visited Japan to appear in a goodwill soccer match.
Kim will hold his exclusive live concert ‘Kim Hyun Joong Heat 2012 in Japan’ for free on July 15. He will give splendid performances and have a great time with over 32,000 fans.
Kim held fan meetings in Chengdu and Guangzhou, China on June 1. He will also hold another fan meeting in Shanghai, China on June 9.

{NEWS}Kim Hyun Joong tops the Oricon DVD Chart again

 

Kim Hyun Joong again set a new record in Japan.

On May 16, Kim topped the Oricon’s Daily Chart with the DVD of his live concert in Japan titled First Impact. It also topped the Oricon’s DVD Weekly Chart as over 16,000 copies were sold.

It’s the second time that a foreign solo singer topped the Oricon DVD Weekly Chart after Micheal Jackson with Micheal Jackson Vision in 2010. It’s especially more meaningful because Kim is the first Korean solo singer to set such a record.

BoA ranked third with 8 Films & More in 2003 and Jang Keun Suk ranked fourth with Jang Keun Suk 2011 Asia Tour Last in Seoul in 2011. However, Kim set a new record on the chart and he’s attracting wide attention both in Korea and Japan.

Its Blu-ray Disc version also ranked third on the Oricon’s Blu-ray Disc Chart with over 7,000 copies being sold.

Kim has recently finished his fan meetings in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan and will hold large-scale fan meetings in four cities of China from June.

[Exclusive] Kim Hyun Joong Charms Like A Prince (Singapore Press Conference)

The charming prince of Korea arrived on sunny Singapore island on 3 May 2012 and proceeded to a press conference a few hours later. Jam-packed with media from all sorts of publications and nationalities, the venue was bustling with excitement waiting for the arrival of Kim Hyun Joong. Looking chic in black with a tinge of male cleavage, hair perfectly in place, he mesmerised the media with his mega-watt smile.

Embarking on an Asian Tour Fanmeeting, Kim Hyun Joong picked Singapore as its first stop because he felt it was a fantastic place to kickstart his tour. He expressed that he missed fans in Singapore who never failed to welcome him warmly each time. The fanmeet boasts of upgraded versions from all his previous performances, as he performs songs he has never done before.

 

One special factor about the upcoming fanmeet in Singapore, is the record-breaking hi-5 session with 3000 fans. Something no other artiste has ever initiated. The simple reason behind it is that Kim Hyun Joong wanted to meet each of his fans up close and remember them. “It will be like a small gift from me” said the sweet prince. If he could set a world record, he would love to have a concert with the most number of fans in attendance.

Not only that, each ticket-holder would be presented with a U:ZOOSIN shirt and brooch designed by Kim Hyun Joong himself. He wished for fans to bring back something memorable.

On his future plans, he is in the midst of preparing his next album set to be released early next year. The early start was so he could put in his best effort to produce a wonderful album for fans. Known for his sensitive male lead character in Boys Over Flowers, he hinted of possibly working in a new drama. However no confirmation nor details were revealed.

{NEWS} 500 ticket holders will get a chance to meet Kim Hyun Joong in person and send a ‘high five’ to him

Premiere seats, the floor seats that are closest to the stage, have completely sold out since tickets launched, but there is now a better way to meet Kim Hyun Joong up close in person. 500 ticket holders will have a chance to meet Kim Hyun Joong in a private session on concert day on 4 May 2012 and send him a ‘high-five’. High-Five sessions are typically well-wishing sessions that are important to most K-Pop stars, and usually done either before the concert begins or as a congratulatory note after the concert ends.

The lucky winners will be balloted from all ticket holders across all categories, and will include current ticket holders who have already purchased tickets since it went on sale yesterday. Winners will be contacted via the contact details provided when booking through Sistic, and details of the session will be advised then.

Tickets to “Kim Hyun Joong Asia Fan Meeting 2012” in Singapore have been selling quickly, but fans can rest assure that good seats at the Arena, Terrace and Balcony are still available. Sale of tickets will be open to the public tomorrow, after the two-day priority booking for UOB One and Debit card members today (see appendix A for full ticketing details).

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong encourages Kim Hyun Joong with a letter

A letter written by JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong to Kim Hyun Joong has become an issue.

In the episode of MBC’s K-Pop Star Shakes the World–Lucky Guy Kim Hyun Joong which aired on April 17, Kim Hyun Joong shows his particularly close relationship with JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong.

The stars are seen having a meal together and frankly sharing about their stories for they haven’t seen each other for a long time.

Kim Hyun Joong says, “We have lived together for a year, but because we are both busy with activities abroad, the actual time we’ve spent together is only about a month.

 When I was going through a hard time, Jae Joong hyung wrote me a letter. He said, ‘If there’s anything bothering you, don’t keep it to yourself. I’m there for you.’ I was so grateful for that letter.” He expresses his gratitude to Jae Joong.

On hearing this, Kim Jae Joong replies, “I received a letter back from Hyun Joong which read, ‘I’m sorry and thank you, hyung.’ I know it’s pretty awkward for guys to communicate with a letter, but still…” and laughed out loud.
