JYJ‘s Yoochun and Han Ji Min of the hit SBS drama ’Rooftop Prince‘ shared a couple photo via Han Ji Min’s Facebook.
On May 25th, Han Ji Min posted, “As long as you have our memories, we can be together forever. The warm heart and overflowing love you have always given me. I will remember you even after 300 years pass.”

The photo seems to have been taken during the middle of filming ‘Rooftop Prince’. Fans are commenting that they truly do look like they brought the 300-year-old love of their characters, Lee Gak and Park Ha, to life.
Netizens responded, “They seriously look like a real devoted couple,” “This is the first time a couple has ever looked this good with each other in a drama,” and “What pleasure do I live for now that there’s no ‘Rooftop Prince’?”
‘Rooftop Prince’ aired its final episode on May 24 KST.

[NEWS] 120524 ‘Rooftop Prince’ Yoochun-Han Ji Min’s Love that Lasts 300 Years

During the episode of SBS ‘Rooftop Prince’ that aired on the 23rd of May, Park Yoochun shed tears for his longing for Han Ji Min. Lee Gak (Park Yoochun) becomes time warped back to the Chosun Dynasty and solves the mystery of the murder.
During the episode, Bu Yong (Han Ji Min) dies after intentionally eating the dried persimmons that had poisonous powder on them provided by Hwa Yong (Hong Se Na) in order to save the crowned prince Lee Gak (Park Yoochun). Prior to the event, the princess (Hong Se Na) followed her father’s orders to put poison on the dried persimmons. Bu Yong catches on to the situation and asks Lee Gak to award him with the persimmons for solving Lee Gak’s riddle.

Bu Yong eats the poisoned persimmons and saves Lee Gak’s life. The reason Bu Yong ate the persimmons without revealing the evil plot was because she knew the danger her family could face if she revealed the truth.
Lee Gak finds a letter written by Bu Yong. Before her death, Bu Yong wrote ‘There are some good things about death. I can say something that I have kept secret all my life. I loved you. I was fond of you from the very beginning. I’ll live even in death, I’ll die even with life, even after hundreds of year, I will love you.’

From then on, Lee Gak cannot help but remember Park Ha (Han Ji Min) even after 300 years have passed. Lee Gak sheds tears remembering the members that had happened. Lee Gak writes a letter to Park Ha, ‘Park Ha, I arrived safely. How are you? If you could read this letter, it must be 300 years from now,’ and hid the letter under a pillar in the palace.
Park Ha finds the letter 300 years later in the present time and longs for the love of her life Lee Gak.

Actress Han Ji Min and actor Park Yoo Chun recently revealed their amiable mood.

On May 24, Park tweeted a couple of photos with the caption, “Lee Gak and Park Ha.”

In the photos, it looks natural Park puts his arms around Han’s shoulder, and the twosome serve up big, bright smiles. The onscreen couple from the series Rooftop Prince catch the eye because they look as if they were a couple in real.

Jung Suk Won tweeted on his Twitter account on the early morning of May 16th, 2012, “Thank you very much. Birthday is nothing yet prepared for me like this… Thank you to my parents who gave birth to me. Good night.” He also uploaded a photo.
The published photo showed that the henchmen trio of “Crown Prince”, Jung Suk Won, Lee Min Ho, Choi Woo Shik and of course, Park Yu Chun who plays the role of Lee Gak, gathered together to celebrate the birthday of Jung Suk Won, in which Jung Suk Won held a small cake with a happy smile, the bright smile attracted attention.

The mystery about the murder case of the Crown Princess will be revealed on Rooftop Prince

Solving the mystery about the murder case of the crown princess will be the main story of SBS TV’s drama series Rooftop Prince towards the end.

In the 13th episode of Rooftop Prince that aired on May 3, Park Ha (played by Han Ji Min) and Hong Se Na (played by Jung Yumi)’s real mother Mrs. Jang (played by Na Young Hee) appeared again. Accordingly, it’s tipped that the fact that Park Ha and Hong Se Na are sisters will soon be revealed. It’s an important fact that implies their relationship in the Joseon Dynasty period and the present.

At the end of the episode, prince Lee Gak (played by JYJ’s Yoo Chun) realized how Park Ha and the crown princess were related. As he started to solve the mystery, it will be the main story towards the end of the series.

The producer Ahn Gil Ho says, “The first part of this series was about how the prince and his men would get used to the life of the present, the middle part was about the prince and Park Ha falling in love. The last part will mainly be about how they will solve the mystery about the murder case of the crown princess.”

Ahn also says, “As the prince tries to solve the mystery, you’ll be able to see the series’s strong plot.”

[ NEWS] 120502 Rooftop Prince Appears on Exam Paper

On the afternoon of May 1st, 2012, Choi Woo Shik who plays the role of Do Chi San in SBS drama series “Rooftop Prince” tweeted on his Twitter account, “We appear on the test paper,” and uploaded a photo.
The photo shows that the dialogs between characters in “Rooftop Prince” appeared on the examination papers.
Netizens commented on the photos, “Very popular, examination authority also uses it,” “Really is the trend of Crown Prince” and so on.
Subsequently, some other photos which show the questions based on “Rooftop Prince” on exam papers also been tweeted to Twitter. Currently, it’s the season of midterm examination in South Korea.
The translation of the questions appear on the test paper listed below the photos.

Compare the work between “A Song of a Fisherman” by Yi Hyeon Bo, the scholar during the Jungjong reign, and “The Fisherman’s Calendar” by Yun Seondo, the scholar during the Hyojong reign in Joseon Dynasty.

{NEWS}Fans of JYJ’s Yoochun donate $11,500 USD to 42 charities

Fans of  JYJ's Yoochun have completed a fantastic charity project to show support for his SBS drama,"Rooftop Prince".

Yoochun fans support union spentsix weeks collecting Naver's charity currency,called Happy Beans,starting from february 15th until March 31st.They managed to gather about $11,500 USD,which they used to purchase and donate rice and ramen for group like the eldery.multi-cultural families,the disabled,and improverished.

Over 179 organization signed up for the project,and 42 were chosen.The organization thanked the fans by leaving message like," Yoochun seemed like a figure so far removed from us,but he  now seems so close,"and "We were worried over running out of rice,but we are able to give the elderly  meals thanks to the fans of Yoochun".

in related news,JYJ has been continuing their charity projects,such as their numeruos donation to world causes,in addition to their participation in the "Mango Tree Project " with world vision.

{NEWS}Rooftop Prince releases its sound tracks sung by Baek Ji Young, Jay Park, and Ali

A soundtrack album for SBS’s drama series Rooftop Prince hit the shelves on April 17.

Through her song “After a Long Time,” Baek Ji Young perfectly expresses the heartrending love between Lee Gak (played by Park Yoo Chun) and Park Ha (played by Han Ji Min) with her voice.

The singer has participated in making the sound track to cheer her lover, Jung Suk Won, who is currently playing Woo Yong Sul in the series.

The song “Happy Ending” by Jay Park brings up the overall atmosphere of the series with Parks’ distinctive voice. Since it is first time for Park to record a sound track for a series, many are showing more interest.

Ali’s “Hurt” is a mournful ballad created in a Korean classical music frame.

As Lee Gak and Park Ha are capturing audience with their romantic and comic love story, Rooftop Princeregained its reputation as the most preferred drama series on Wednesdays and Thursdays. "Rooftop Prince" temporarily cancels Yoochun's ongoing drama filming

JYJ Yoochun's upcoming filming sessions for SBS "Rooftop Prince" have been cancelled after news about his father's passing was reported today. The cancellation has been given to Yoochun as he grieves for the loss of his father.

Yoochun, who joined JYJ in their successful concert tour in South America arrived in South Korea this afternoon. Representatives from the drama production confirmed that filming for the third and fourth episodes that were originally scheduled for March 15 will temporarily be cancelled.

They were then quoted saying, “The situation is rather hectic with the passing of his father. Thus, it has been deemed not possible for the filming scheduled for tomorrow afternoon to go on as planned, and Yoochun’s filming schedules have been cancelled.” It was also revealed that the drama production have enough advance footage for the first broadcast on March 21st.

Closing their statement regarding Yoochun's schedule cancellation, the production team went on to say, “Currently, only the filming schedule for the 15th of March has been confirmed, but I think it is probable that Yoochun will not be able to partake in filming until the day of the funeral mass. Everyone on the production team would like to express our condolences.”

"Rooftop Prince" is set to premiere on March 21st and will have at least 20 episodes.
