{NEWS}Actor Kim Bum’s new role is singer

 

Kim Bum there’s a new rising Hallyu star in town that may be able to give actor-turned-singer Jang Keun-suk a run for his money.

Kim Bum, the 22-year-old actor who rose to fame in the dramas “Boys over Flowers” (2009) and this year’s “Padam Padam” will try his luck as a singer in Japan.

Kim will launch his debut album Wednesday and begin a three-day promotional visit to Japan on Saturday. On Sunday, Kim will meet with an expected 1,500 fans at a launch event for his album “Hometown” at the Odaiba VenusFort in Tokyo before doing interviews with Japanese media.

The album is being described as summery with elements of nostalgia, consisting of seven tracks from various genres, such as rock and ballad.

The album was backed by the famous Japanese label Pony Canyon and was produced by Park Geun-chul, who has worked on sound tracks for dramas.

Leading up to his debut album, Kim has also contributed various song to the sound tracks of dramas in which he has starred.

Actor Kim Beom recently showed off his perfectly proportioned figure.
Kim’s agency, King Kong Entertainment, released pictures of Kim, who appeared in on the cover of the June edition of Chinese magazine Men’s Uno.

The magazine is published in Chinese speaking countries, including, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. In the pictorial, Kim showed off his manly charms and long arms and legs.
Kim is currently keeping busy shooting the movie Miracle (directed by Kwon Ho Young).

Kim Beom plays a cameo role in High Kick 3 as a man of wealth

On March 7, Kim Beom’s agency revealed photos of Kim Beom who transformed himself into a rich guy in High Kick 3.
In the photos, Kim Beom looked totally different from Lee Guk Su, the guardian angel character in Ppadam Ppadam, turning into a rich guy with a chic, charismatic hair style and fashion sense.
In High Kick 1, Kim Beom played a student who sponges off his friend, but now he returns to High Kick 3 by quickly climbing the career ladder as the CEO of a department store, which will surely serve up some fantastic entertainment.
Called upon by producer Kim Beong Wook, with whom Kim Beom has build close relationship, Kim Beom accepted the offer without hesitation and enjoyed the shooting with intimate shooting staff and other actors.
Kim Beom says, “I was happy with the delight of seeing the staff members after so long. I cannot believe High Kick already marked its third series. I worried about failing to get the chance to be involved in the series as High Kick 3’s episodes are numbered. I died with joy when I was called upon by Kim.”
