[NEWS]CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Jung Shin take cute portraits

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Jung Shin are showing their support for new girl group AOA.
On July 30, Jung tweeted a picture with the comment, “AOA are so great. The first girl group from our agency. Please support the group. I gave them one of my songs so please give them lots of love. Jung Shin and I are having fun in Japan.”

Lee also tweeted a picture and said hello to his fans.
The pictures show the two members holding their cameras close to their faces. Jung is making the V sign and Lee is making a serious face.
People responded: “They both look great.” “I’m eagerly awaiting the new girl group.” “Jung has various talents making songs and performing in a TV series.” “What are they doing in Japan?” “They look cute.”
AOA, composed of eight members, will hold a showcase on July 30 and will debut to the world.

{NEWS}CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa meets Top 3 supermodels

CNBLUE’s leader Jung Yong Hwa recently transformed into a trendy boy in a TV commercial.
On June 7, Jung’s agency, FNC Music, said Jung shot a TV commercial for Olive Young with the Top 3 supermodels, Jin Jung Sun, Park Seul Gi, and Lee Jenny, who appeared on On Style’s Challenge! Supermodel Korea 2.

In the still, which was released online, Jung is transformed into a trendy boy and is receiving a lot of attention from the ladies. He is helping the ladies look more beautiful in a fancy powder room.
An official for the commercial says, “We shot the commercial not only in a powder room but also in various places to attractively portray Jung. In the commercial, CNBLUE members, who are currently keeping busy doing individual schedules, gathered together once more.

Ha Eun Young, the head of CJ Olive Young’s marketing team, says, “We cast CNBLUE to promote our concept, which leads trends among females in their 20s and 30s. Beauty and health were our theme for the commercial. Through the commercial, the group will be able to show off their healthy and beautiful charms.”

{NEWS}Jung Yonghwa of CNBLUE wants to focus on his music career

Jung Yonghwa, the front man for the band CNBLUE, has been increasing his popularity recently. With the successful wrap up of their promotions for "Ear Fun," and the upcoming Japanese release of his last series "You've Fallen For Me (Heartstrings)," it seems like Jung Yonghwa could easily have his pick of dramas to act in while he fills his time between promotions.

However, this is the last thing that Yonghwa wants to do. Despite the fact that the other three members of the band are all taking in part in the acting industry (drummer Kang Minhyuk is appearing in "My Husband's Got a Family," guitarist Lee Jonghyun is in "A Gentleman's Dignity," and bassist Lee Jungshin is currently taking acting lessons), Yonghwa wants to take some time to focus on his musical career, at least until the end of the year.

A representative from Yonghwa's label (FNC Entertainment) stated, "Jung Yonghwa wants to make a name for himself as a musician more than as an actor. As well as taking part in the band's new album, CNBLUE will be busy touring abroad this year." 

Outside of working on his music, Yonghwa has also tried his hand at producing music. Which helped to launch the career of Korean-Japanese singer Juniel in Korea.

{NEWS}CNBLUE’s Yonghwa chosen as the top singer-songwriter among idols

Yonghwa of CNBLUE has been chosen as the #1 singer-songwriter among idol groups.
On the May 16th edition of SBS‘ entertainment program ‘K-Star News‘, Yonghwa was recognized as the “Idol who is most likely to succeed in solo activities”. The honor was given in part due to the CNBLUE member’s excellence in singing, composing, and producing, which are all talents that add to his singer-songwriter status.

In addition to his musical talents, Jung Yonghwa also boasts success as an actor on the small screen. The star played a major role in the hit drama ‘You’re Beautiful‘, and is also appearing in the overseas market with the Japanese drama ‘You’ve Fallen for Me‘.

‘K-STAR NEWS’ commented on the results, “Jung Yonghwa’s greatest asset is his musical ability… The combination of looks that can melt any woman’s heart with his charismatic leadership make him an easy pick for the number one spot.”

In related news, ‘You’ve Fallen for Me’ is scheduled for broadcast on FujiTV in July.

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa helps Juniel debut in June

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa recently transformed into a producer and helped Juniel debut as a singer.
On May 15, CNBLUE’s agency, FNC Entertainment, said that their first female solo and singer-songwriter Juniel will debut in June.
Juniel appeared on MBC’s documentary program K-pop Star Captures the World-CNBLUE, which aired on May 21 and drew a lot of attention.

Juniel also appeared on Niziiro Supernova, the Japanese version of Super Star K, and won first place. She has been making songs and playing guitar since she was a little girl.
Jung also received a lot of attention by writing a song for Juniel and working as a producer to help her debut in the singing world.
Jung, who is a passionate singer-songwriter, completed the song, which is perfect for Juniel.

{NEWS}CNBLUE members come face to face with a hungry cow

CNBLUE members Yonghwa and Jungshin caused no shortage of laughter as they were subject to a punishment in which they came face to face with a hungry cow.
On the May 5th episode of KBS2TV‘s ‘Invincible Youth 2‘, the G6 members held a athletics competition with guests Yonghwa, Jungshin, Taeyeon of Girl’s Generation, and Narsha of Brown Eyed Girls.

After losing an event titled the ‘crab-walk race’, members Boom, Hyoyeon, and Yewon of Jewelry were subject to a punishment in which they had to feed a cow with the grass on their heads. In a bid to escape the punishment, Hyoyeon sent streams of aegyo at Yonghwa and asked, “Can you take the punishment for me?“, to which Yonghwa instantly replied, “I’ll do it!” Yewon followed Hyoyeon’s lead and sent distress signals at Jungshin, who also agreed by saying, “I’m a man. I’ll do it!”
However, their chivalry did not prepare them for what came next, as they waited in fright with the cow’s feed on their heads. When the hungry cow began its meal, it even licked the nape of Jungshin’s neck and ear, causing his eyes to widen comically and leading the entire cast to burst into laughter.

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa plans to release his new songs at a Korean fan meeting.

CNBLUE will hold their first fan meeting Voice Day at Yonsei University in Seoul on May 5 at 6:00 in the afternoon. They will hold a mini concert at the fan meeting and will meet with their fans.
The group prepared a special programs so they could have a wonderful time with their fans. They will perform several songs, including “In My Head,” “Tattoo,” “Love Girl,” and “One Time,” which were written by Jung Yong Hwa, live. They also prepared games and made the fans curious.

At the fan meeting, CNBLUE and their fans will raise money for a cause as well. The fund will be donated to CNBLUE School, run and sponsored by CNBLUE, in Africa. CNLBUE’s fans were asked to raise funds voluntarily and made the fan meeting more special.
The group says, “We are so excited to meet our fans. We are working hard to show a different side of us. We think we will have great time playing games together.”

A new female singer named Juniel is getting a lot of attention.
The April 21 episode of MBC’s special program K-pop Star Captures the World – Just Rock CNBLUE aired Jung Yong Hwa giving Juniel a song and producing her.
After seeing Jung advising the new singer as a veteran singer and as a producer, Jung and Juniel ranked high in several portal sites’ real time search word lists.

People who watched the show responded: “Who is Juniel?” “I envy her because Jung takes care of her.”
Juniel, who was produced by Jung, will debut in Korea at the end of May.

Juniel is the winner of Niziiro Supernova (the Japanese version of Super Star K). She is a very talented singer and songwriter who has worked in Japan.

CNBLUE leader Yonghwa met with a reporter behind the scenes of KBS’s ‘Music Bank‘ and stated, “First it was just the music, then I wanted to see how they would match this song with their performance. After watching their performance I felt an overwhelming sense of confidence from them. I felt like the five members up on the stage all delivered a message saying, ‘We are SHINee’.”

Jonghyun of CNBLUE then added, “This song is a definitely different from normal K-pop music so it is one that is hard to pull off. That made it even more of a sweet surprise. They were able to pull it off perfectly because they are SHINee. The way they express themselves through their song and performance made me feel like I was watching a scene from a musical.”

{NEWS}CNBlue Reveals Last Teaser Featuring Yong Hwa

Finally, the last teaser for CNBlue introducing Yong Hwa has been unleashed!
We reported over the last couple of days that CNBlue started revealing individual teasers for each member. The last three teasers introduced members Jung Shin, Jong Hyun, Min Hyuk, and now, the last teaser introduces Yong Hwa to complete the cycle of teaser videos for their upcoming mini-album “Ear Fun.”
All teasers have one thing in common: CNBlue likes to rock with their music! Their third mini-album will be released on March 27.
